So.
After football practice(95 degrees outside if you figure in the humidity) on the ride home I'm thinking I get to enjoy a nice... cold, freezing cold home.

Instead I come home to a 90 degree house.

:/

No AC until tomorrow.

Luckily we have fans.
And a mini-AC that's been collecting dust in the garage.

I think everyone needs to keep a spare air conditioner in their house.
Hopefully my fish'll be alright : /
Been watching the thermometer and there hasn't been that much of a real change. So that's a plus.


Any tips on how to stay cool tonight? haha.
 
LOL, agreed, NOT a good idea, and a HORRID almost mental picture. Maybe try some ice packs wrapped in a towle on the back of your neck..
 
Throw your sheets in the freezer....when you take em out but another set in, I've done it with a HORRIBLE sunburn (course I could sleep with no cloths) it was WONDERFUL!!!
 
Pillow in the freezer :D
 
Get a rinse a towel, get it really damp wet, put it in the fridge for a hour or two, then use the towel as a coolant.
 
Take a shower before bed. If you must cover (I have too) use a thin sheet, and put a fan on you.
 
Well, the mini AC did wonders. I was actually cold last night.
It was right above me blowing cold air out, which was nice for a little while, then I woke up in the middle of the night freezing my neck off(the ac was blowing on my head) so I had to cover up.
Not complaining though. It was very nice :]

I also have NEVER heard of pillows and sheets in the fridge haha.
