Air stone or bubble wand or what?

Cosidering if I am going to use an airstone or bubble wand for decoration, if I do a planted tank I figure I will use one with my DIY but what seems to work best for ya'll.

i had a bubble wand once it was for looks only. i dont have any air pumps on my tanks. when your doing co2 in a planted tank you want to get the bubbles as small as you can. smaller then any air stone would do.

I shove a ripped up cigarette filter in the end of my air hose and use an airhose suction cup to attach it to the tank wall.
Easy, Cheap, Small bubbles.
