Albino African Clawed Frog

My AACF lately has had a........ smokey, cloud like substance coming out of his mouth. The first time I thought it was funny. My gourami came up and ate it right out of his mouth!

Today it spanned almost the length of his body and was wrapped around his leg. He pulled it free, but does anyone have any idea what this might be? He has been eating alot of shrimp pellets lately. I'm clueless. :help:

I would surmise that your frog was shedding, and that what you saw was the skin hanging out of the frog's mouth as he was consuming it (Pipidae do this as a matter of habit).
