one of my moms angels died and I am partly responsible. I want to make it up to her. She has always wanted a knife but feared to try in a communtity. There is a 2" creamy white albino featherback white pink eyes for $20. I don't know the variety. Would it be safe in moms tank? she is afraid it will eat the yoyo loach and the activity of the other loach will stress it. Is it compatible aggresion wise? Hunter wize? the store feeds it the smallest of feeder guppies and frozen brine shrimp.

55.

I have an albino clown knife. It belong to the "feather back" species, called like that for the small dorsal fin.

Well, I got mine at 5" and 3 months later it measures 8". Supposed to top at 12-16" according to the info I've gathered. Size wise, not good for a 55.

In a community, it will eat anything that fits its mouth. I use to feed him 1-1.5" guppies, and I also witnessed him eating a 2" platty. However, he wont bother the 3" gouramies.

I just found this:

thanks. this one is creamy white, like glow-in-the-darkplastic in the light and has no spots. Dangit, know I want a knife!!!! wilit workin the cichlid 55? about the size thng, mymom is hoping for a larg insurence check in the next 2 months and said that if it is a good amount than I can upgrade to a 125!!

NO!!! they will Kill it! you need a large tank, my ghost is going into the 1,100 Gal tank a the new house. your better off getting a larger tank then a 125 because most get huge and require 250 gallons minimum. lots of caves to hide in and low light. your 55 Gal with the cichlids in it would be bad because your needle nose Gar will take chunks out of the fish and with virtually no scales to protect it it will die they are considered scaleless fish, if you ever touch them they are smooth, no scales

my new gar is scaleless but I can see what you mean about the size difference. I have enough to handle already.
