Well, my algae blenny does eat algae, but only the extremely minimal algae that's on the glass. He doesn't touch anything else that's on the liverock or sand, which is unfortunate because theres plenty of it, and it looks thick and green and delicious (if I were a fish). This kind of baffles me after hearing about their reputation. Does anyone have experience with this; does your algae blenny also ignore this algae?

maybe it's not hungry?

Algae Blennies will mostly only eat the brown algae in tanks. Have you been feeding him Nori (Seaweed)?
