Algae Chemicals?

blue-green "algae" is actually cynobacteria, so I am not sure the algaecide will even work.

Are you dosing ferts? Co2?
Whats the lighting?

I dose flourish weekly... I have 108w of T5 lighting on a 55g (6500k)
I have DIY Co2.. but its not currently working due to a bad powerhead (that is the reason for my algae most likely)

I wasnt really looking for a solution here.. I was just curious about these chemicals in general
