Algae eater help!

my 30 gallonen is as fallows

10 Cardinal Teteras
6 Nerrow Wege tetras
1 Cory Cat
1 Common Plec
1 Brissle Nose Plec
1 Crown Plec
1 Opline Groumis
AND
1 Albino Red Tail

My red tail does not bother anyone. He stays in the rocks and explores all day. When it comes to feeding time, of someone goes near HIS piace of food he will chace them away. But i have never seen hime fight with anyone.

Get Brissle nose plec for your tank. They dont grow big and seem to be the chose of most keepers on the fourm. I have 1 common plec in ym tank and that leaveing shrotly becuase they get to alarge for anything under 50.

good luck

PS Holly if right, red tails are not know for alge eating. You might have got a agressive or "attitude" fish. Just try again.

A Bristlenose Pleco would be perfect for your tank. :D

I have three otos in my 20gal and they do a great job of getting rid of all the algae. I've tried to supplement their diet with veggies, blanched cucumber, blanched broccoli, lettuce leaves, so far they've ignored all of it...They are really cool little fish and I would highly recommend them. I think one or two per 10gals is a good number and should take care of any algae you get.

ive got 20 ottos in my 55 gallon.....all fat and healthy and I still only see a few at any given time. They are so small and dont seem to require much swimming space.
