algae eating snails

i have one ramshorn in my other tank and i havent seen any damaged plants....

I have ramshonrs in 12 planted tanks, they do not damage my healthy plants.

same here i have only found it on my plants and even then i thinking it was juse esting the algae!!

any more suggestions????? im leaning twards getting more ramshorns or letting the one i have lay eggs.....

plz if you have any seggestions or think one of these is a good plan let me know!!!!!

Well, nerites. Mine eliminated all the BBA so far.

Not all apple snails eat plants. But they are notoriuos for escaping, as are nerites. Nerites are the only true really efficient algae eaters. What type of algae and tell us more about your tank.

The apple snails I am referring to are the ones that get the size of an apple.

They're most likely canas which are often confused with the brigs. Canas are voracious plant eaters unlike the brigs. You can use this as a reference to compare your snail.

There are hundreds of species of apple snails

danios will eat any juvenile shrimp, but adults may survive. You could try some amano/yamato shrimp.
