Hello everyone,

After my recent disaster, my tank finally has gone through its cycle. I have this growing on my rocks, can someone tell me what kind it is? and Good or Bad?

Hair algae. Most tanks probably have a little, but it can smother a tank if allowed to grow out of control.

Try hermits and manual removal. Keeping nutrients low will help, but it's tough in a new tank. Oh, and leave the lights way down until you have livestock that need it.
