just make sure theres no water movement where you want to spot treat, you can turn the filter off if needed. i put 3ml of h202 in the pipette and super slowly squirt it on the affected areas. i do it 2x, and you know you got it becasue the algae will have bubbles coming out of it. it works great! only algae in moss killer i know of.
Just take out the wood/moss, place in a cool bucket somewhere for say a week, the moss will last if kept moist.
The algae will die.
Rinse very well. Then set aside for 1 day at least.
Then return to the tank.
This will hurt the algae a lot.
