Algae On Java Moss

Excel is very effective on BBA especially if spot treated. I've not found it to be effective on staghorn or hair algae.

If it is staghorn, the best way is to spend a few days working on different sections of the tank and get it all out. A blackout will do nothing to help you.

Will frequent water change of 15% every three days affect the fert dosing and C02 injections?
Thanks!

Doesn't sound like you have issues with the water flow but i must warn you that improper feeding results in some strange algae if you use ferts. I find the common mistake is only to dose traces which is bad because there isnt enough NPK for the plants but there is enough for the algae! ... Get some macro nutrients and start figuring out the dose that works best for you. the best place is www.gregwatson.com he is a great guy and is very clever.

Will the Algae go once the tank gets its balance and all the plants grow very well that there are no more nutrients for algae to grow?
