Algae Scrapers / Scrubbers-Which Ones Really Work?

There's these magnets on the above mentioned site. A little spendy but they aint $200.00. I think these are so strong they'd brake the glass if handled wrong. Check out the "Pull Force".

These huge blocks *MUST* be handled with extreme caution. These giant blocks are favorites of magicians and illusionists. They are incredibly powerful and should only be purchased by users familiar with the proper handling of large neodymium magnets. Two of these stuck together are virtually impossible to separate by hand. They can pinch and cause physical harm if they are not handled with extreme care and respect. You must read and understand our Neodymium Magnet Safety Page before ordering these magnets. You must also agree to our Terms and Conditions prior to purchasing. THESE ARE DANGEROUS!

Well, that would have to be Hackettstown Pets for anything healthy. I find most LFS just not up to my standards. Don't need to buy much locally luckily though. My main tank is fully stocked with discus from breeders, i have a bristlenose pair in another tank, and a pair of angels in a 3rd tank. The Petco at 25th St in Easton is worth running to for something needed in a hurry, but mostly I order supplies over the Inet.....plant, frozen foods, meds, etc. How about in your area, any good LFS? I visited Tanks2U, but that's been 3-4 years ago. That's where I got my current 72bow with a custom stand and hood. That was a very expensive visit!

Thanks 2 U is ok, but spendy. I usually order from TFP or go down there (thats where I bought my tank). To buy stuff local I usually price match off of Petsmart if I'm in a pinch or go to Sheer Heaven on MacArthur since its on my way home. American Aquarium isnt bad in Orefield...nice guys but so so fish.

I think I just read someone planning to use steel wool? I would not reccomend this. steel wool is designed to break down quickly, and you'll end up with sharp shards of metal floating around your tank that may have been coated with any number of things, could get caught in your fish's gills, eyes and mouth, and will most likely rust.
