Algae?

Personally I don't worry about the back/sides as my tank is not viewable from those aspects. Use the mag float where you can, otherwise just rub a dub dub with the scratchy bit when you're cleaning your tank to break down the build up elsewhere.

I wasn't sure if it was algae or not. I have 3 otos and two ramshorns (snails/new additions) in the tank. Do you think they will handle it? I don't want to scrape and take away their food source. My otos so far will not touch veggies or algae wafers.........
Any chance of a pic ? I'd say its likely some kind of algae build up as opposed to anything to worry about but not sure whether it is a food source for those fish...mind you if it is present to the extent it is bugging you it would seem they arn't eating it.
