Plecos are the best because they are big. Bristlenose plecos are one of the best algae eaters, but dont get much bigger than 3".
There are some species of Ancistrus (Bristlenoses) that do get up to 7", and i agree they do make excellent algae eaters.
Really! I didnt know.... i guess that kind is more rare? I'm not much of a pleco person but am getting a bristlenose next week for my africans 
I just went up to my LFS (Petsmart). They are the only reliable dealer in my area, and I know I've seen one in there before, but haven't in a while. I asked one of the workers that knows me real well and he said that he would see if they could get any. So hopefully that will work out, but what about a "rubber-nose pleco" or a "rubber-lipped" something like that. The sticker said they only get up to about the same length as a bristlenose. Have you guys had any expierence in this kind of pleco? Thanks for the help BTW.

Most Petsmarts and other stores will special order if you ask them. This is awesome because you don't have to pay shipping and your safe if the fish is DOA.
