It's just that I've seen my 6" bristlenoses produce a small pile of waste in just a few days, far more than I've ever seen any group of otos produce.
I'm no catfish expert to any degree, so I'll admit I could be wrong. My impression was that all species of plecos had no actual stomach, but rather a very efficient digestive tract.
