im currentlly having problems with my marine tank... i have around 30 kg of live rock , a size (m) Hawaian Yellow Tang, two size (m) Brown Tangs,1 Hawaian Sailfin Tang, 1 Golden Head Goby, 1 cleaner mimic, 3 Skunk Shrimps (L), 3 Cave Gobbies,2 Maroon Clown and corals, 5 Green Stripe Mushroom, 5 Corcea Clams, 3 bubble Coral, 1 Bubble Anemone, 2 yellow polyps, 1 orange ball sponge, 3 normal sponges, 1 elegent coral etc... ok its all in a 55gl thank and i give them sufficient lightings , feed my fish and corals with brine shrimps... to minimize the nitrate levels.. i have tested everything with my test kit... only the phosphate level is overwhelming.... the current problem is this, my thank keeps blooming green,brown and red algea..... what should i do????
 
That's a lot of fish in a 55. Removing some of the fish, or getting a larger tank, would be the best solution, IMO. Doing more frequent water changes is likely going to work, in the short term. Meaning, at least 30% every week--but I feel this will be a short term solution, as the fish growth will increase the nutrients available for the algaes.
 
Even 1 yellow tang does not belong in a 55. You are seriously overstocked. Does your lfs know what you have in your tank? If so, you should find a better source for your information. I am not flaming you so please don't take it like that. You should ask here before you buy anything else.

Remember the lfs wants your money. We don't.
 
ANY species of Tang requires a 90gal. tank or bigger. These guys can get 14". You definately have to do something to get yours out of that size tank. Either buy a bigger tank or take them back to the fish store.

Not only that, but your tank is WAY overstocked. A 55gal. tank should have no more than 3 or 4 medium sized fish.
