We are not alone....For thousands of years different people from different parts of this world have been looking at the stars. For what? Because they are pretty? Why in Egyptian hyroglyphs are there pictures of people with what can only be helmets with hoses coming out of them? Artistic thought? I doubt it.
We are probably a big DNA experiment and the aliens that put everything on the earth are wondering why they didn't give the hands and bigger brains to the dolphins....lol

You have to look at what you know before you can say there is life out there. Look at earth for instances, just about every part of the world is covered with life, from the microscopic to gigantic. We are still discovering new organism each day, so what does this tell you? that life given the chance will evolve just about anywhere, in just about any condition.

The universe is old, there has been enough time for civilations to come and go, leave their mark and then disappear. Why don't we see any signs of life in the skies? because there isn't any. If aliens are out there they may be the equivanlent of a dog, elephhant , or horse. Intelligence is rare at this time in the universe we maybe the only intelligent lifeform.

I hope you mean why don't we see any signs of life on other worlds. If you do well the answer is simple. We've really only just begun to look.

Awesome..although those pictures could just be from the perfect angle every time...if you went 90 degrees around you'd see it was obviously pancake shaped....or possibly banana shaped.

this ice should be tooken to a freezer or a university, then they should test how old it is, what liquid the ice is formed of, how much it weigh's, if it's solid, what the temperature is and see how much energy was in it as it fell, this could be a chunk of ice from pluto that's been orbiting us for hundreds of years un noticed.
also a military satelite should have been able to measure how fast it was moving. how big was it and why did'nt it melt on it's way through our atmosphere.

That would be rediculously expensive, and if it came form outer space it probably would have melted entering the atmosphere. Unless its populated by super bacteria from outer space, then we're all doomed.

For those who haven't, you should read A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking. I'm only about 2/3 through it, but its extremely interesting regarding the size of the universe, its possible originations, etc.

well, if aliens do exist they wouldnt be intrested in us. they are so far advanced they see us as a curiosity to be studied and track our progress. its sorta like how we view the study of apes or maybe cattle. thats my idea. i saw a ufo one time and have never seen any plane do that vertical jump like it did with no sound. no doubt to me they exist.
