all angelfish tank

ok ,some of you guy have see my 20 long before,
now after i sold all of the livebreader
and im planning on having that tank for angels only and i might want to breed it in the fulture
but my old setting is for both angel and livebreader
now i need help with some ideas for set up my 20 long
i'll buy some peny size angel and give it a head start in this tank just for now,
intill i get my 55 i'll move it over and i might get some discus (if i could find them)

get good quality fish angels plus or other reputable angel breeders.. expect to pay more but you get what you pay for.
shipping tends to be the killer but it is worth paying for overnite shipping. if that doesn't work for you see if you can find a local angel breeder.

you'll want to get dime sized angels at least 8 you can keep them for a few weeks in the 20 long but you will need to set up a larger tank. the angels will grow quickly and when they get to 50 cent sized they may begin pairing off.

watch for aggression and be ready to move fish.
btw..if you want to keep pairs look at a 29 or at least a 20 high..
a 40 breeder is even better if you want to allow the angels to attempt parent raising.

A lot of angels in one tank is nice but if a pair start breeding they will upset the other fish and take over the tank. When i had angels and a pair started breeding they wouldn't let any other fish in their half of the 4' tank, they also took turns in going off and picking fights with my other angels for no apparent reason.
The discus i kept with them were a lot of work to look after and the angels always ate their food no matter what i did.
I do like discus fish but gave mine away as i have found them to be very time consuming. Discus are probably best kept on their own or with shoaling fish like danios or neons as discus are timid and like to feel safe.

A tank udgrade as star_rider said is the best way to go, but you might be able to grow some out in a 20 long for some time, but an upgrade will be necessary.

I keep discus with wild angels with no issues..the discus were raised with angels and actually get bigger (considerably bigger)than angels.. i know my discus will kick an angels butt when it comes to food. but..there are some discus that are more timid.
so care must be taken when keeping them with angles.
