all glass aquarium hood

i have a 40 glallon breeder tank with a all glass aquarium hood and was wondering if a HOB has enouph room were the two inch plast strip is i have a canister filter but was gonna add a cheap bio wheel so let me know thanks

some do..all you do is cut out the area where the HOB fits.

I have only had one problem with an oversized HOB Penguin didn't fit correctly.
I made it work tho

I just got one and was sorly unhappy it did not fit. with the plastic strip off my bio wheel still took up to much room. So now I have a glass top with the edge sticking out what a waste of money.

Check out the HOB you are going to buy and see how much room you will need.

whaty if you remove the plastic hinge part i don't have a glass lid but it might work
