I was doing some comparison shopping for heaters and noted that All-Glass has a line of heaters [check out the AG site for more info here ]. I tried doing some research on the web to see if anyone had any experience with them but I did not come up with much.

Has anyone had any experiences with this brand of heater? Are they any good? Thanks for any comments anyone can provide.

I have one 100 Watt in my now cycling, planted, 29 gallon tank. It seems to work... I am only using it until I get my Ebo-Jagers however, as I have heard they are a better, more reliable heater. What was suggested to me in the Newbie Forum was either Ebo-Jager or Tronic. Again, so far so good with the All-Glass, it keeps my temp constant.

Thanks for the feedback Harlock. It is interesting that All-Glass has decided to get into this nice of aquarium product manufacturing as it seems there is a lot of brand loyalty directed towards Ebo and Tronic. It may take a while for these heaters to establish any kind of track record.

Not sure about the AGA heaters, but I've had some complaints regarding the EboJagers as of late. The older ones (which I have), I find are manufactured much better and when set, will keep the set temperature. However, the new EboJagers are made by Eheim, but some of the heaters seem to be a little quirky and sometimes off (I had one that I ended up returning)

All Glass Heater

I have an All-Glass 200W heater in my 46G bowfront. I've only had it set up for a couple of weeks, but it seems to be working fine so far. I like the Stealth heaters, but I don't like not having an indicator light.

BTW, the Eheim Jager heaters got a lot of bad reviews on the cichlid forum:

Got an All-Glass 150 watt. No problems, My house gets pretty **** cold in the winter ( can't afford the bills ) and the temp never moves.

We have a pair of the little 50-watt heaters, one in each 10gal tank. Have run these for well over a year with zero problems. Just set and forget; the temperature dial is actually quite accurate.

I picked up a 300w All-Glass for my 70g container pond (the store was out of 400's and I couldnt wait) and it is working good so far. Plus, its outside all day and night. Anyway, so far so good.
