all my angle fish do

I have three beautiful marble angle fish. Very pretty!

All they ever do is swim around looking up and wait for food. If i walk by the tank they get all excited every time thinking they are going to get food. Food food food food food food food food. Thats all they do is swim and look up for food.

They are fairly big, and have them since they were babies. But in teh last 6 months - boy they are just smaller than my hand --

food food food!

DO they do anything else besides look for food.

I am kinda half joking when i comment and ask about this... but boy... i never seen a hungier animal -- u would think I never feed them they way they act.

what kind of angle fish is that in your aviator -- its looks awsome a balck angle fish ?
 
Black angels though tend to be difficult to care for. I had four before and found them rather difficult to keep in comparison to other strains I tried.

That is pretty much about as good as it gets with any fish :D

...Apart from those Oscar's who can go to the shops and collect the newspaper for you/rescue children from abandoned mineshafts/solve crime.
 
Sounds totally normal for angels. ( my oscar can also wrestle the neighbor's cat)
 
Mine do that also. They wiggle like an excited puppy when I walk into the room. They are now doing it when my wife walks in as well.Two other things angels do is fight and poop. They are very normal.

Fish are opportunity eaters. They will eat any chance they get to do so.They do not have a "full"switch and can over-eat.In answer to your question add this to the other comments as well
 
I have one, my marble... Whenever my hand is in the tanks i.e. water changes, rearranging plants... he will swim up and brush himself against my fingers ever so gently and he swims back and forth like that. :) I love him. I've had him since he was a baby about under a quarter size and now he's about 2"-3" wide (minus tail).

I love angels! I put lots of large amazon swords in the tank and they love it.
