My interest in the hobby has been (mostly) on and off for nearly 35 years. My work has made me a bit of a hobo so there has been a few years when I was unable to keep aquariums but I always ended up coming back to keeping fish.
My interests have always been around filtration and improving water quality, but lately I've started line breeding African Cichlids in order to better understand the complex nature of the mechanisms that control their infanitely complex colour pattern.
