My room mate gave me a rock full of quartz and we both thought it would look cool in my tank. I did the vinegar test and it was alright. i accidentally dropped it and it broke in half and exposed about a quarter sized hunk of copper:eek3: and several smaller sized pieces. he told me he had picked it op while walking on the shore of lake superior . (The upper peninsula has a lot of copper ore)..close call
