Reduce feedings to once a day. That is more than enough. MOre food means more waste and more pollution in the tank.
As for algae eaters, be very careful which you choose. All are not suitable and many are not very good algae eaters for their whole life span. When the time comes do a lot of research for the community of fish you have and the type of algae you have. Also realize that most tanks do not provide enough alage for that to be the sole diet and you will have to buy algae tablets to suppliment their diet. And they aren't always needed.
