alternating gill usage?

My gsp seems to use his gills one at a time...he eats well, swims around a lots, no stress lines or anything, but he always has one gill or the other closed.

My tank has been recently treated for IP's by soaking food in jungle buddies parasite clear fizzing tabs as well as treating the tank with it.

My params are good as of 2 days ago and this behavior has been going on for a week or so. I'm just wondering if anything could be wrong, or if it's comon behaviour.

Well I just looked at Milton's gills to see how he breaths... I'm not really sure though because I can barely see his gills moving and it doesn't help he is doing his food dance. I'm not sure if its a bad thing or not but I guess just keep an eye on him.

I can't even see Miltons gills move, maybe he is a zombie fish! hahaha
