Good luck! I'm a little nervous about the Cabomba too, but Stargazer is right, different things work for different people! My main comment would be that it is very delicate and can come apart easy.

*update*
so far the Cabomba looks great and is growing faster then i thought. one of the stalks has already grown about 3 inches from what i can tell and none of it is turning brown. the guppy fry seem to like it too.
