Altum Update

Can't wait to see the new pics of them in the new tank!
 
hoping to get them moved to the new tank soon.. it's been running and is set up biotope amazon.
I'll try and get picks up..soon
 
What beautiful fish. Good luck with the transfer to your new tank. We are all looking forward to pictures.l
 
am doing water changes to prep the new tank..it's had a lot of driftwood in the tank and has sand bottom..
with luck I should have the Altums in the new home this weekend.

they are outgrowing the 29.. oddly they are more calm than scalare
 
they are looking great. good job being successfull with them. they will only get nicer as they grow. cant wait to get some when altum season comes.
 
Altum season is just around the corner
Picked mine up last august...the ALtums Mature a bit slower.. need very clean acidic water and lots of food..which = lots of water changes I still do daily 10% water changes after their evening feeding..
 
Altums moved into new home 5/20
I moved all of the tanks structures over and set it up so it was somewhat similar to the old tank.. tho quite a bit more swimming room. sponge filter was moved over.. tank pH still at or below 6...tannin stained water.. no pictures as I will give them a few more days to settle in. possibly by this weekend ;)
