always wondered about being bitten by fish

Ok, I was re-reading this post, and it occurs to me I have another story to tell. Not aquarium fish though... I spent a lot of time up in the NC mountains, and there's tons of good places to swim up there. However, I don't swim without at least socks on. Apparently, my long toes are the natural food of the rainbow trout. And the brook trout. I don't just get nibbled on, I get swallowed! I have, on more than on occasion, reached down and pulled a 10 inch trout off my toe. I have stepped out of the water with a trout still attached to my foot, and strode onto the shore before the beast relased me. The first time this happened, I levitated out of the water. The last time this happened, I hopped back onto my inner tube and amused the kids swimming nearby by waving my fish/foot at them. When I fly fish, I catch little ones. When I swim barefoot, I get the lunkers... go figure!
