the crabs can reach the hammock via the drift wood in the tank. As far as getting rid of them, the store won't accept returns, other than dead fish within 48 hours. So I guess I can view it as an experiment. And I've read a few different post from people on this site as well as other about crabs living in freshwater successfully for months to years. I suppose converting the tank to BW would be pretty exciting though.
