I just thought I would let you know that you could probably get a decent size school of pygmy cories ( I have heard they stay very small, around 1" full grown). Also, I had a pleco called a rubber lipped pleco (also called a bulldog pleco) and it stays fairly small as well. Look into those if you want bottom feeders. Good luck.

I tried to do that for my otos. It didn't work. 12-14 hours of light everyday, lots of excess fertilizers. It didn't do a thing. I also think, once a tank is balanced, you should REALLY not do anything to throw it off. It's much easier and safer just to supplement them with veggies and Omega One Veggie Rounds (algae wafers don't do it for my otos, as they contain more meat than vegetable matter).gst4life said:

doesn't it suck that when you DON'T want algae, its everywhere, and when you DO want algae, you can't grow it to save your life, or your otos.
