I have a bichir about 8.5" from nose to the tip of its tail (bubbles) which I feed one piece of fish (the food) every night. My concern is that it looks obese compared to any picture I have seen online. On the other hand, I walked into my room today to see bubbles with my pictus' head in his mouth. I have also heard similar "attacks" in the middle of the night when I have skipped a feeding (in an attemt to wen him down in weight). So is he too fat or should I continue to feed it as I have been? The reason I am so concerned is that I have seen on numerous profiles that this fish should not be overfed, but I am not sure where to draw the line.
