Am i overstocked ?

Alright point taken lol, ill get rid of the balas when i can, also would it be unfair to remove 2 SAE's and leave only 1 ?

These a BIG difference between SAEs and CAEs!!!

yeah balas get pretty BIG, but i'm assuming they're juvies, so you're probably okay for now...

I also agree you should ditch the CAE's and just keep the BN's... I wish I could have a few more BN's...

balas get much larger than clown loaches and frequently zoom from one end of the tank to another. with a school of six, you are really pushing the minimum tank size up fast.

also, he has SIAMESE algea eaters, not CHINESE algea eaters.

SAE's are not aggressve, nor do tehy get to 10" like CAE's. still, you should move out all three SAE's and two bristlenose plecos. or you can move out all four bristlenose plecos and keep the three SAE's

IMO a proper sized group of bala sharks should be kept in a 400+ gallon tank and a proper sized group of clown loaches in a 180+ gallon tank when they are full grown.

I'd say that more often, but people call me a noob when I say such large tank sizes as that :silly:

Lucky Mr.Mod doesn't have that problem :D

I'd lose the balas, make a statue out of them for the town square.

Plan on upgrading for the clowns.
