AM I SILLY

Ok sorry guys, packing up stuff etcfor the move, will transport the tank this week to new home. Bought a cabinet in a flea market perfect for job. The background was too mush work and we felt that we would damage the tank taking it off.
Tank was filled again the other day to make sure it was safe.
This tank will after a lot of consideration be home to many livebearers.

Ok,
This is a long tank for me, just wanted to know what sort of heaters, economic wise should i use to heat it and filter wise, will be going for an external plus power head inside. Believe it or not this will be a fun tank, full of guppies swordtails and platys, with loaches and cories plus bn's of course. Probably two females..
What to do, i dont know how long it will be in this new abode, so any suggestions etc will be appreciated.
Sorry for the late come back.
Regards,
Denis

i would leave the BG on, its pretty freakin cool.

yes it looks good, but i was going for max room plus dividers for breeding but as i am not sure where i am going to be in 6 months i am going for a fun tank.
Just need advice on the above

because its a rocky background i would say screw doing a community tank. and instead do an african cichlid tank with lots of stonework that matches the background. you could still keep BN plecos in there with them. you could do any of the 3 lakes. malawi has the most color, and tang has the most oddities and behavior differences. its all in your preferences however

Yes i know, always wanted to do one, but love breeding projects and at the moment we are in the process of sorting the new place out. But thats life maybe in a few years, i havent that much time to watch out for bullying etc.
The Livebearers just carry on regardless and breeding the cats is fun, they need little but water changes and lots of food.
Just wondering on the type of heater to heat this baby..

Ok tank has been moved and fitted with a 305 fluval external, 200w eheim heater.
No substrate yet, filled with water and waiting to see if its ok, no leaks etc after move.
3 more tanks going in this week aswell, But have to find the space among all the boxes etx from the move.
Will sort it out. Pics will come this week. Sorry for the long boring process.
I am still going with the livebearers as money tight with the move.
Will see howit looks, probably will change it in a few months just want to get it up and running.
Regards,
Denis
