amano and cherry shrimp

would these two types do well with each other?i saw some at a LFS and wanted to know.Also how big do they get they were about 1/2" whn i saw them.

They will do just fine together. The only problem you may have is the Amano Shrimp may become a bully at feeding time, but if there is enough food for all it is not a problem at all.

I have both in my cherry red shrimp tank. The cherry red shrimp are having babies and the amanos don't even bother them. As for food, I have those super soft spurlina pellets, I just grind 3-4 between my fingers and the shrimp won't fight. Seeing they have to forage off the plants to eat and not fight for the pellets.

All of them are in a 10 gallon tank.
