Amano Shrimp and a Betta?

I keep ADFs with ghost shrimp and the frogs don't even notice them at all. I wouldn't get the amamno shrimp, just because I have seen what happens to shrimp in a betta tank and I wouldn't want to waste money.

My betta was in a 10g with amanos and 3 panda cories. He chased the heck out of the cories, but never seemed to even notice the shrimp.

My Betta is in a tank with bamboo and amano's he does not bother with them. I have a lot of plants that they can hide in but they come out all the time and he couldn't care less!!!
