Amano Shrimp...

Hi all. I have two questions about amano shrimp. First off, do they need heat. Also, would the get eaten by boesmani rainbows, red tail sharks, glow danios, BN plecos, or paradise fish? Thanks.

First, most shrimp do fine at room temp, I have a 10gal cherry shrimp w/ a sponge filter, gravel, a piece of driftwood and thats it. Secondly most likely the shark or the paradise fish would eat the shrimp given the opertunity.

they prefer a tropical temperature of around 75-78 and sometimes a little higher. it might make a tasty snack for some of your tankmates.

also, note that your RTB will get more aggressive and need a more spacious tank
