I have a male amano in my 55 and I was thinking about moving him to my snowball 12. I just received some grade A CRS I am acclimating, and I remember they are both caridinia species. But I was curious as to what would happen. Would the male amano breed with a female CRS to cause muts...and since Amanos dont breed in freshwater I assume its safe to leave the female amanos in the tank with my crystal males. Is my logic correct?

Highly doubt that is even possible for them to interbreed, amanos need salt watch to hatch their larva.

Awesome, 4 different shrimp species living in harmony in one tank! I'll post pictures of the CRS in a few hours once they get more comfortable in the tank.

Well everyone settled in and they're busy eating and jumping from plant to drfitwood to plant. I absolutely love the CRS, beautiful colors. I can't wait until we start breeding. Managed to snap a few photos.
