Amazing Flying Fish Video Link!!! <//MUST SEE!//<

Yes. What they're doing is shining the flashlights in the water, fish instinctively jump out when that happens. I'm not sure why they're yelling, maybe that helps? :/

Imagine if everyone did this? You can see why it's outlawed.. fish would be going extinct everywhere. Plus there's really no challenge in it, I can't see how it would be fun.

I wasn't exactly sure what was going on at first either, I just thought the footage was amazing.

crazy i had never heard of that before. here in oklahoma we got idiots that get in the water and stick thier hands in holes but ive never heard of that.

Um... I don't think it's instinct for fish to do that. I''ve gone fishing at night and have flashed a light on shallow fish but I've never seen them jump because of it. These must have to be a specific species of fish that do this.
A lot of fish are attracted to light, which is why fishing with lights is banned in many places.

Yeah, but just cus they are attracted doesn't mean there going to jump out at it, if anything they will congragate were the light is in the water. Besides, after watching the video a few more times, it seems like they aren't doing much to induce the jumping. It seems like they are just in the right place at the right time and are using the lights so they can see. It would help a lot if someone could interperet what they are saying.

Why would you purposely put your boat in their way when they can crack their skull or break their jaws? If you catch any, only take your maximum allowable and don't capitalize on it. Furthermore, kill them immediately instead of letting them suffer while thrashing around in the boat.
