amazon swords and tank size

Everything I read says amazon swords should only be kept in "larger" tanks, but never specifies what tank sizes are minimum recommendations. What do you think? Anyone have pics of full grown amazon swords in their tanks? (Please include tank size if you post pics.) Thanks

i have three in my 29 and one is huge.then i have two little babies and there roots stretch the length of the aquarium.God only knows what the bigs ones roots are doing

thats in a 85 gal. its about a foot wide by over a foot tall.

I have 2 , one in my 29 and one in my 55 gallon tank. if it gets to big I will pluck them and add new. I love the look of them!

Most grow very big--IMO the bigger the tank the better. I have 6 in my 100gal. 4 of them are huge!!! There are some smaller sword though --Dwarf chain-sword, ect.

Couldn't one keep pruning it back to keep it from getting too big a given tank?

You can prune them and it will remain small.

But the plants potential is very great
