FREE Ameca Splendens - Pick up only NJ 07727

I have about 12 adults (2.25") and a bunch of babies (.5"-1"). I was holding these for someone to buy and they stiffed me. They are overcrowded now in a 20g & getting stressed so they need a new home! Very active & eating well but some redness in gills & 1 has a patch of scales missing (stress!).

These fish are very hardy, can be housed in cooler waters, easy to breed & eat algae. Prefer hard alkaline waters.

I have attached some photos of when they were in the bigger tank, which they need. Given a bigger tank they will get a nice robust 3-4" & will breed like mad!

They are great fish! I bred them for awhile & sold them for near nothing, $.25 (HERE is a link to that sale with some more info) just to help spread their numbers since they are extinct in the wild. I am just moving on & ran out of space, although I do have access to these guys nearly all the time because one of the guys I sold them to is down the road and has had great success breeding them. Sometimes they are free, sometimes not, depends on the amounts available.

I always hear good things about this fish. Do you know if Jerz is taking them all yet? I think I am about 45 minutes or so from you.. If I have the time to make the trip, it would be worth an RAOK for these fish.. otherwise, I'll probably wait and maybe get them from that guy you mentioned, later on.

Sorry everyone I am still waiting to hear back from Jerzboi. He did not specify if he wanted all of them or anything so I don't know much right now.

They are live bearers & the adults are 2.25".

I will find out in the next few days if my "neighbor" has any to give or sell and let everyone know about that too.
