There would've been many a night, back in the day, where I would've been screwed if I lived in CT. Yeesh.
I used to live 5 miles from the california nevada boarder. There was a taxi service that would take your order and drive to the beer store in nevada after 2a.m. when they stopped selling in california, and deliver it to your house. They only charged fare from the store to the house, and gave a reciept for the purchase so you knew they were not marking up the beer. Of course, we would tip them about $20 to avoid the DUI to drive across police alley(not to mention beer was super cheap at dart liquer, $10 30 packs)
