also i found greenish brownish moss on filter is this good or should i clean the filter.

help need. thanks in advance for all ahelp

How big of a tank is this? What kind and how many fish? How did you cycle the tank?
Liquid test kit or strips?

Do daily water changes if necessary to keep ammonia and nitrites less than .25

also.. if your fish have died, you're gonna need to do something to continue the cycle.. (ie. add liquid ammonia)

30gl tank and i use liquid test solution i started a fish cycle.

what liquid test solution..??

i left out a couple detail. ammonia level used to be 6.0ppm nitrite .50ppm.
i was told to do water changes to get the ammonia and nitrite level to 0ppm. but ammonia level remains at 0.25ppm. even after multiple water changes.

you may have a bit of ammonia in your tap water.. it's not all that uncommon. i would start using Prime in order to neutralize the ammonia that comes in your water.
