a little off subject, but has anyone tried ammolock from amquel to stabilize ammonia to a less harmful state? Does that affect the growth of ammonia nitrifying bacteria? Of course it does nothing for the nitrite that will build up, but it should immidiately relieve the burning sensation (on the fish; if you have a burning sensation, I can't help ya).
