Ammonia tests came out really weird

Leave the tank for a day, and test. It could of been a mini-cycle. Maybe someone added something to the tank?

Im the only one that touches the tanks. Im positive nothing was added. And when i tested it last night it was at 0.25 mg/l.

Did you use the same test tube each time? Is it possible you used the nitrate or nitrite test tube instead? If so, residue from a previous test (if the tubes weren't thoroughly cleaned) might have mixed with the current test, giving an odd result.

I washed them all out before doing any other tests in the tubes.
