Is it hard to kill an anacharis plant, cause I think I did. I have 21W of light for my 10 gallon tank. It was nice and green and when I got back from thanksgiving vacation it was brown. I have DIY CO2 and use Flourish twice a week. I haven't been able to do any tests yet. Will do some today when I get home.

Did you have the lights on timer, or was the tank left in the dark? Anacharis can take a lot, but does not do blackouts very well at all in my tanks (yes, I have killed it that way). It may green back up, or may just decay.

yeah, i couldnt kill my anacharis if i tried. they're growing at about 6" per week!!!!! its ridiculous, i have so much anacharis i dont know what to do with it................ you want some of mine blank??

I like the look of lush dark green anacharis -- like in some LFS, but we have never been able to keep it growing .......

I did a big clean up yesterday. Amongst other things, I took the anacharis out, pruned off all of the dead or dying peices, and now just have what's left floating at the top. There are new shoots stemming off the original plants, so hopefully the parts that are still green will grow out.
