Anchor coral

me too, me too. I can't seem to talk my LFS into getting frogspawn or hammer coral in. No idea why. it's always a type of brain coral or mushrooms. I might have to try it again on Friday when I stop in

I have a branching hammer CPD. It is constantly splitting heads and having new buds on the stalk. It is green with pink tips. I don't spot feed, the tank is pretty nutrient rich and it does fine under the MHs. I keep it about midway down and out of direct flow. They are known for their sweeper tentacles as are others in the same family but I rarely see them on mine because it probably doesn't need to seek out food.

Cheers for that grins. Niko's link did point out that they were killers (in bold). I've rearranged my rock today in preperation and have left a large area for it to have, but I was hoping that considering my tank is classed as a well (over) fed tank that I wouldn't have too many worries (especially as I've just ordered some really nice frags from somewhere else as well):grinyes:

My tank is pretty nutrient rich (no skimmer) and my friggin frogspawn has been sending out its sweepers to romp around the residency (I believe that's alliteration). ;)
