Hmm and Into.... nothin fancy nothing boring nothing wierd... heh to late for the last one....
I am a stay at home mom with my one year old and I decieded to get an aquarium going again, i have had fish on and off since i was little for a short period of time my grandmother invested in breeding fan tail beta red/blue and green/blues that was before they went up to almost 13.00 depending on what type.. cheapest 3 somthing at walmart. I wanted to start showing my son more animal life than just the dogs cats horse and donkey we have.
Started out with a pea puffer, betta and a red claw crab with one live plant don't ask what cause it didn't have a label and i have no clue.. and basic tank set up flat boring nothing special even the puffer looked bored. SOOOOO I tiered the gravel placed a conk shell on its end with a very large sand dollar on top so my crab could get out of the water when she wanted, rearranged the plants added another live plant then got smart and tried to add a fiddler crab... BIG mistake, i was watching t.v. getting ready for bed when he ran across my foot... grumbling i picked him up put him back in the tank then covered what ever holes i could find... couple days later again he dissapeared... i searched but was at a loss couldn't find him. i gave up. A week later i took the filter out to clean it and low and behold the fiddler was in the filter tank... i finally took him out and put him in with my grandmothers blue betta that is in a cake bowl hasn't escaped since.
well i got a little brave when i went back to Walmart to try and scavange more apple shell snails for my tank and puffer and bought a Kili Fish the only one in there that had any type of color to him. brought him home with a butt load of apple snails he is doing really good. then i bought a pleco to cover the alge and left over food on the bottom. THEN some one presented me with a Dinosaur eel... oook i thought well there goes my tank fish... but na he scavanges and usually stays at the bottom unless my beta is feeling brave and annoys him then he smacks him with his tail its comical watching our Fish tank. I ran out of frozen brine shrip and blood worms and i don't use flakes no one in the tank will eat them... and the usual stores were out so i got 3 ghost shrimp and 4 guppies 2 adults, 1 young and 1 fry tried to find my other tank to set up a breeding tank couldn't find it... my grandmother put the guppies in with the ghost shrimp and my other fish... 2 days and they were gone. lol so i was happy that i didn't have to feed them those two days and that was cheap food.. 1 for the ghost shrim and guppies combined.
the third day i got the frozen stuff they were still full so i let them be. ok enough bout my tank antics i will post pictures when i can
