hi there -
I have a 650 litre tank with a variety of invertabrates including the smaller rock anenome a number of hermit crabs varoius shrimp and cowries and a few fish puffer wrasse etc - I recently got 2 common clown fish and a carpet anenome - after 3 days the anenome went flat and is now pretty much dead - the rest of the tank is good including all the smaller anenomes and fish - is there anything specific that the bigger anenomes require ?

what is your lighting etc and water parameters........anemones require high lighting and pristine water quality. Though I would think that it would take longer than 3 days to succumb unless it was already on it's way out when you bought it?

i would also think it owuld take longer, but then again, carpets are esspecialy sensitive.
