so my rbta has picked a spot to plant it's foot and will not move it. im happy that it likes where i put it so much but it is stretching it's foot crazy far. i have no idea if this is normal but it's driving me nuts!
sorry the pic is blurry but you get the idea..

sometimes it comes down farther but has NEVER moved it foot... i assume if it was uncomfortable it would move..?

I've been directing mine with flow. It's funny...when I change the flow in my tank, my BTA usually loses a tentacle.

Of course, it's still growing like a weed, so it's no big loss for that little soldier, but still...

I've definitely never seen mine do that, either!:jaw:

I've never seen one stretch like that for very long. I would guess that it would be moving very soon. Is it's rock isolated from the other rocks in your reef ? I'm guessing but, sometimes they won't move across the sand .

I almost looks like its streaching to get more light.. Have you thought about moving the rock higher in your tank? Its its foot only in one rock or multiples?
