anenome suggestions w/ clown

ok suggestions for an anenome for hosting a perculas clown ??? and is the true perculas better to go with than a false perculas?? the the tank is a 90G. it's not setup yet, and i will fishless cycle w/ LV. but i'm wanting to research the anenomes before getting one and need to know what would do good with this setup. i want to have some butterflies, blue tank, etc... nothing crazy, also some corals, in time. lighting will be a tek light 6x54 (from my previous post about lighting, thanks guys). if this helps, i like anenome's that have long tenacles not the short ones.
 
I have a ocellaris clown and it really likes it's Bubble Tip Anemone, but that has stubby tentacles, most of the longer tentacle anemones are quite hard to care for. You could try hammer coral, it acts as a host to the fish aswell.
 
You don’t need an anemone to keep clowns happy.
 
Keep in mind that anemones need good water quality and high lighting as well. With my maroon clown I have a green bubble tip anemone and that is working great. I am also running 2 150w hqi halides and a 250w pendant. There isn't anything I can't keep in this tank.
As stated before, you don't need an anemone to keep clownfish happy, but if you do get one please make sure you tank has good water quality and you are running the right lighting for them.

from posting on here and reefcentral.com the lighting i mentioned above (6x54W) tek light will be more than enough to keep anything in the tank as well. so i should be good on that.
 
IMO get a bubble tip, they are easy to care for, and not all anemones need high lighting, i have had a BTA in 60 watts of light and it is fine.
 
unlikly that a ocellaris clown will take to a BTA - however this is the easiest to care for

H. Magnifica - (rittiri) or carepts are the natural host i believe but very large and very difficult to care for! i have a BTA in my clown tank, loverly animal but clowns wont take any notice, its bean a month, i knew this would be the case before i got it but thought i would give it a go. However they stayed at a friends whilst i had a long holiday and they went straight in his rittiri
 
LOL, as soon as i put my BTA in my tank, the ocellaris dived right into it.
 
I have one hosting in the outflow of my filter... Fish are like ppl the thing that works for one may not work for the other!
